Hi, I’m Kristina “Pen” Winter, an Illustrator and 2D Animator based in Hamburg/Germany.
I'm a freelancer
and own a small business for selling my merch at madeby.penwinter.com.
I have worked in video game development as 2D Animator and was Lead Technical Animator for Daedalic Entertainment's
adaption of Ken Follett’s “The Pillars of the Earth” into a Point and Click Adventure.
Aside from contract freelance work I create various commission artworks for private clients around the world.
My focus is on character portraits, but I also am in love with themes of nature and colours schemes.
Apart from illustrative work I am expanding
my fields of skills and techniques by constantly learning. I find joy in experimenting with art styles, sculpting and visual development of video games.
My day is usually filled with all things creative and tending to my shop by working on more products and shipping. During my free time I like to go on long walks, cycling and do more art related things like crafting.
